The three trainers here are just great, super friendly and funny, they make every session enjoyable while also being incredibly knowledgeable. They tailor workouts to individual needs and always know just how to push you to reach your goals. I love going to the gym, and I never thought I’d be saying that, one year on from starting strength training as a total beginner. Encore is fabulous, and Alex, Marshall and Lauren have encouraged me to work hard and lift heavier whilst having fun in a totally unpretentious environment. I’ve never been this fit in my life. For me, it’s important that a trainer knows their stuff, and that’s one reason I enjoy Encore’s small group sessions so much. I’ve learned how to avoid injury and how the exercises fit together in making me stronger. There’s a complimentary espresso before a session and protein shake after, which means you can chat for a bit before dashing off, and there’s always a friendly vibe. I heartily recommend Encore if you want a top quality gym, where you will get personal coaching and a great community. There’s a good range of ages and it’s as welcoming for women as it is for men. A lovely small private gym where you do weights and resistance training in small groups. Everyone is really friendly . Its totally accessible and unintimidating whoever you are. Alex and Marshall really make sure you have good technique and help you to progress. I highly recommend it.
